It is the mission of The Pointe! Dance Studio to provide a professional dance program, where children can develop coordination, flexibility, creativity and dance techniques. In addition, students are given the opportunity to develop positive self-esteem, discipline, body awareness and social skills. It is the philosophy of The Pointe! Dance Studio to teach students about all the types of dancing, theater etiquette, stage presence and a sense of inner beauty.
About the Pointe! Dance Studio
   The Pointe! Dance Studiowas establish in October, 1999 with humble beginnings, with seventeen students in the basement of a Mt. Airy row house. In 2002, The Pointe! moved to its own dance studio in the historical Germantown area of the City. Since that time, the dance school has grown to over 200 students. In 2003, the students were invited to perform nationally at Great Adventure and Walt Disney World. The Pointe! Dance Studio offers classes in ballet, jazz, tap, pointe, African, hip-hop, praise and acrobatics throughout the year. The Summer Dance Camp operates for six-weeks. Classes are offered during the summer months in ballet, jazz and acrobatics. | ||||
